YogaTrails is a unique experience designed to maximize wellness for the body, mind, and spirit. Set in nature and subscribing to the idea of movement as a way to health, this experience amplifies the yoga journey naturally. The natural world is a wise teacher.
A tree conveys both strength and beauty. The bird tells us to hold life with a light grasp. A stream reminds us that life is constantly shifting and changing. The gifts of nature reveal all of this and more. In the simple beauty of the natural world there is freedom.
Meditate to the sound of a gentle stream. Find tree pose while connecting with a large Oak. Feel yourself soar in triangle pose as birds fly high above. Observe the changing energies of a forest and ground into the present moment.
Experiencing natural connections with the trees, plants, and animals helps to diminish any feeling of separateness. This is a beautiful experience that serves to reminds of us of our roots in nature connecting us with mother earth and opening us to a world of possibility.
The day begins with a gentle yoga stretch before hitting the trail. As your muscles warm up and you breathe fresh air, you will set intentions for the day. Throughout the day there will be a combination of hiking, yoga, meditation, and breath work with an emphasis on awareness of self and nature. A fresh, organic lunch will be provided at a mid-day break point. Following lunch, a short discussion addressing topics of health, wellness, and nutrition will ensue before heading back out on the trail. The day closes with a gentle yoga stretch and gratitude meditation.
